FishCast

Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These terms apply to the FishCast app, operated by Draven Gabriel, ABN 32 834 146 161, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. By using FishCast you agree to them.

1. What FishCast is

FishCast combines publicly available forecast data (wind, swell, tide, current, moon, pressure) into a 0–10 conditions rating, with a guide to bar conditions and target species. The rating is a guide to how comfortable conditions may be for offshore fishing. It is not a safety assessment and does not predict fish activity or catches.

2. Safety, your responsibility

Forecasts can be wrong and conditions change quickly. Before heading out you must:

Never rely on FishCast alone. The skipper is always responsible for the vessel and everyone on board.

3. Subscriptions and free trial

4. Your rights under Australian law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost arising from use of, or reliance on, FishCast or its data, including decisions about whether to go to sea.

6. Data accuracy and availability

Forecast data comes from third parties. We don't guarantee it is accurate, complete or always available.

7. Acceptable use

Don't copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer the app or its ratings.
